We've been on the move! The day after we got back from our trip to the Farm, my sweet cousin Anna and her family came to visit DC! I absolutely loved having family in town, and it meant the world to me that they came to see me (well, maybe they came to see Lincoln and the Hope Diamond but that's besides the point).
They played typical tourist during the day and we met up for dinner. Except on Friday, I joined in some of the tourist fun. I need to be a tourist in my own city more often-- I don't think I had seen Lincoln since I moved back up here four years ago! Then everyone gathered at our apartment for dinner Friday night, including Anna's friend and her daughter. The "silly" picture was much better than the "sweet" picture.
Sadly they left on Saturday, but not before we could grab a burger, cheese fries and a shake at Shake Shack-- yum!
Then it was dinner on the roof on Saturday night-- perfect weather, great group. We were just missing the birthday boy's girlfriend who had to work...sad!
